Sixteen additional colors were also added in 1958. In 1962, the color "flesh" was changed to "peach" in name only. In 1972, 8 fluorescent colors were added to the Crayola Crayon Box. In 1990, 16 new colors were again added to the box of Crayola Crayons. In 1990, blue gray, green blue, lemon yellow, maize, orange red, orange yellow, raw umber, and violet blue were all colors that were officially retired. In 1993, 16 new colors were added to the box. In 1998, 24 new colors were again added. In 1999, "Ð‚ÑšIndian red" was renamed "chestnut.". In 2000, "thistle" was replaced by "indigo" and "torch red" was changed to "scarlet". In 2003, the last changes were made to Crayola Crayons in recent memory. Four colors were added: inch worm, jazzberry jam, mango tango, and wild blue yonder. The following colors were retired: blizzard blue, magic mint, mulberry, and teal blue. read less

The company that I work for actually uses the NeatDesk Desktop Scanner which functions as a digital filing system. The scanner can enables scan receipts, business cards and documents in one batch and extracts the important information and automatically organizes it for you. The system is not perfect but it certainly helps get the job done. The scanner comes with a CD installer which is compatible with Windows XP , Vista or Windows 7 (32 and 64-bit). If you have a lot of documents, this scanner would certainly remove the paper clutter at your office. However, if you only have a few documents to file, I'd recommend that you save your money. read less

Since Crayola began making crayons in 1903, only 12 colors have been discontinued. These are: teal blue mulberry magic mint blizzard blue raw umber blue gray lemon yellow maize violet blue orange yellow orange red green blue Three colors have been renamed: Prussian blue to Midnight blue. This was at the request of school teachers in 1958. Flesh was changed to Peach in 1962, owing to the Civil Rights Movement. Indian Red was renamed Chestnut in 1999. While the name of the color came from a reddish-brown pigment found on the Indian subcontinent, there were those who thought children would mistake it for the skin color of Native Americans. I have had a good search, and have so far not found anybody who sells crayons in the discontinued colors. However, there is a Crayola Crayon Maker Kit available on Amazon. Basically you mix in bits of crayon, melt them and pour them into a mold. They are ready to use when they cool and harden. With a little practice and a good eye, it may be able to produce your own reproductions of retired colors. Sounds like an interesting business venture! read less

They tout that they have the widest assortment of calendars on the web with different themes from kittens, Justin Beiber, Mom's Organizing to Swim Suit Models, but no personal photos. They do have picture frames, and large desk calendars you could put your own photos in, though. read less
